Responsibility for proper functioning of vital devices such as power switches, washing machines, water faucet gaskets etc. lie on LD, either directly or in accordance with agreements with an eventual property owner.
TE may not, without LD's written permission, perform painting, putting up wallpaper, or similar actions.
TE must participate in the rotating cleaning schedule as defined by LD. TE is responsible for completing assigned cleaning tasks during their designated week. If TE fails to complete assigned tasks, LD may hire a cleaning service, the full cost of which will be billed to TE. Repeated failures to comply may result in penalties or termination of the rental agreement.
Upon moving out, TE must thoroughly clean the rented room(s), designated bathroom areas, all cupboards/storage used, and interior of fridge/freezer to original standard. Failure to do so will result in professional cleaning costs deducted from deposit.
TE should carefully care for and take care of the property. Should damage occur, TE answers to this, unless TE can show that neither TE nor any under TE's responsibility caused the damage.
TE may not sublet any part of the accommodation space without permission.
It is the responsibility of LD to obtain any permits for rental from the property owner.
TE undertakes to respect the rules of the landlord's in relation to the property owner.
This lease has been drawn up in two identical copies, one for LD and one for TE.
